This is our online archive of native literature centred around the legends and mythology of ancient Ireland. We have divided the collection into the four great cycles of Irish literary tradition; The Mythological Cycle, The Fenian Cycle, The Ulster Cycle, and the Cycle of Kings / Historical Cycle. We have also included concise overviews on the individual cycles themselves and some of the manuscripts relevant to our collection. For the time being we have decided to concentrate on the manuscripts which contain the bulk of the popular mythology but this will grow over time as we develop and widen the scope of the collection.
In the resources section, we have done our best to provide quality articles, essays, and links. Our long term aim is to constantly add to and expand this section to build a vast and reliable resource to be used by anyone from the amateur to the academic. If you have links that you would like to see included, please get in touch with us.
